Call for Humaniry: II. round open

16 November 2015 -The Programme Operator informs potential grant applicants within the Call for Humanity Programme that financial allocation for this call was increased from the original €156 750 to €242 272. The amount was increased due to the refusal of the approved grant within the first Call by the Slovak Catholic Charity. The remaining information provided in the original Call remains unchanged.

10 November 2015 – In recent days, first grants within the Call for Humanity were allocated to cover urgent expenses of organizations helping refugees. Details of the allocation of 343 228.89 are published in the list of Supported Projects.

As of 10 November 2015, the Council of the Call for Humanity announces the second round of financial grants within the Call for Humanity through the Open Society Foundation in order to support activities of organizations contributing to the relief and improvement of living conditions of refugees abroad and in Slovakia.

The period of realization of projects supported by the Call for Humanity is from December 2015 until May 2016. Financial allocation for this Call is 156 750. Funds may be used to reimburse up to 100% of eligible expenditures until the funds allocated for this Call are used up. The maximum grant support for one applicant is 30 000.

Areas of support:

  1. Humanitarian activities, aid to refugees
  2. Integrating refugees into society.

Applications with relevant attachments must be submitted no later than on 30 November 2015 for operational grants and no later than on 31 December 2015 for financial grants. Further information can be found in the full wording of the Call.
